Who can make a reservation at Camp Tahuaya?

Camp Tahuaya is open to the public. Camp Tahuaya is operated by Longhorn Council, Scouting America. Reservations are available for Scouting America Packs, Troops, Crews, Posts, Ships, and District Events. All Longhorn Council members can receive a 25% discount using promo code SCOUTING25 at checkout.

When is Camp Tahuaya open for reservations?

Camp Tahuaya is open 365 days a year, so you can plan your camping adventure anytime, from one-night stays to longer getaways. Reservations can be made online. For questions, please contact a member of our team.

What types of accommodations are available?

Camp Tahuaya offers a range of accommodations, from rustic tent sites to climate-controlled Family Suites with fully furnished interiors. Our sites can host groups of 2 to 100 guests. Scouting units can reserve a rustic campsite for their campout, while individual families and parents can book other accommodations separately.

How do I reserve my campsite for my Scouting Unit?

1. Choose your preferred dates and estimate the number of adults and youth attending. 2. Select your campsite from the available options. 3. Add optional Youth Adventure Passes and Meal Passes to your cart. 4. Complete your reservation online booking reservation system, and enter Promo Code SCOUTING25 for Longhorn Council member pricing (must be a Longhorn Council Scouting Unit to qualify).

What is included with the Adventure Pass?

The Adventure Pass provides access to a variety of activities during your stay. Activities vary by day but can including archery, BB guns & wrist rockets, climbing, boating, crafts, and more. Activities change regularly, so check the Camper's App for the latest schedule. Adventure Passes are available at discounted rates for larger groups. What Does a Lakeside Bistro Weekend Meal Pass Include?

The Weekend Meal Pass ($50 per person) includes Friday night snacks, all meals on Saturday, Sunday breakfast, and unlimited coffee, tea, and soda at the Lakeside Bistro. Meal Passes can be added during your reservation checkout.
