Our variety of programs, ranging from Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA activities to family-friendly workshops and outdoor adventures, introduce children and adults to the skills, values, and fun of Scouting. Many of these programs can continue in your local community, making Camp Tahuaya a launchpad for growth, teamwork, and lasting memories for the whole family.
Cub Scouts
Cub Scouts is a fun, hands-on program for boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade that builds character, encourages leadership, and promotes outdoor adventure. Through age-appropriate activities like hiking, camping, STEM exploration, and community service, Cub Scouts learn important life skills while having fun with friends and family. The program is designed to support positive youth development and strengthen family involvement, helping children grow into confident, capable, and caring individuals.

Scouts BSA
Scouts BSA is a year-round program for youth ages 11–17 that builds character, leadership, citizenship, and outdoor skills. Through hands-on activities and advancement opportunities, Scouts develop confidence and self-reliance while working together as part of a troop. From camping and hiking to community service and earning merit badges, Scouts BSA prepares young people for life with experiences that are both fun and meaningful. The program is youth-led, supported by adult mentors, and open to all.

Venturing
Venturing is a youth-led program for young people ages 14 to 20 that fosters leadership, adventure, and personal growth. Designed around high-energy, team-based experiences, Venturing empowers youth to explore their interests, develop critical life and leadership skills, and build lasting friendships. Whether planning outdoor expeditions, leading service projects, or pursuing specialized awards, Venturers gain confidence and real-world experience that prepares them for future success in school, career, and life.

Sea Scouts
Sea Scouts is a co-ed program for young people ages 14 to 20 that combines maritime adventure with leadership and life skills development. Rooted in Scouting values, Sea Scouts offers hands-on experiences in boating, sailing, navigation, and water safety. Youth work together as part of a ship (unit) to plan activities, learn seamanship, and take on meaningful leadership roles. Whether cruising local waterways or participating in national regattas, Sea Scouts gain confidence, responsibility, and skills that prepare them for success both on and off the water.

Exploring
Exploring is a career-focused program for young people ages 14 to 20 that provides hands-on experiences in a variety of professional fields. Through partnerships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations, Explorers gain real-world insight into careers such as law enforcement, healthcare, engineering, fire and emergency services, and more. The program promotes personal growth, leadership development, and workplace readiness while helping youth make informed decisions about their future. Exploring is co-ed and open to all youth who are curious, motivated, and ready to discover their path.
