Camp Tahuaya is home to a wide variety of facilities designed to make every visit memorable, whether you’re here for adventure, relaxation, or a special event. Our scenic property features modern family suites and cabins, climate-controlled and fully furnished for a comfortable stay. Enjoy meals with a view at the Chandra Family Foundation Lakeside Bistro, or test your skills at our Archery and Shooting Range. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the sprawling trails, waterfront areas, and open spaces perfect for recreation and team-building activities. Convenient restroom and shower facilities are located throughout the property, and the Camp Store offers food, camping essentials, and guest services. Camp Store & Check-In

The Camp Tahuaya Store is your go-to spot for food, beverages, and essential camping supplies during your stay. Guests also check in for their accommodations here, and a friendly staff member is available during posted business hours to assist with questions, provide information, and ensure your visit runs smoothly. Whether you need a snack, gear, or guidance about camp activities, the Camp Store is ready to help make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Chandra Family Foundation Lakeside Bistro

Enjoy meals with a view at the Chandra Family Foundation Lakeside Bistro at Camp Tahuaya. This flexible catering space offers seating for up to eight guests, both inside and on the porch overlooking the serene beauty of Lake Callan. Guests can take advantage of weekend meal passes to enjoy delicious meals in this scenic setting, or reserve the bistro for private events, creating an intimate and memorable experience. Whether it’s a quiet breakfast by the lake or a special gathering with friends and family, the Lakeside Bistro provides a charming and versatile space for dining and connection.

Family Suite Neighborhoods

Camp Tahuaya features 26 modern family suites, designed to provide a comfortable and convenient camping experience. Each suite includes a queen-size bed and one or two bunk beds, comfortably sleeping 4–6 guests. All suites are climate-controlled with heat and air conditioning and come fully furnished with linens, a table, two chairs inside, and two Adirondack chairs on the porch. Each suite also includes lights and outlets for added convenience. The family suites are grouped into three distinct neighborhoods, making it easy to rent individual accommodations for your family or reserve an entire neighborhood for larger groups. Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or a full group retreat, our family suite neighborhoods offer comfort, privacy, and a welcoming home base at camp.

RV Park

The RV Park at Camp Tahuaya offers a comfortable and convenient stay for guests looking to enjoy the outdoors with the comforts of home. Each RV site includes partial hookups, and the park features a dump station and guest laundry to make your visit easy and stress free. With beautiful surroundings and thoughtful amenities, it’s the perfect base for your next getaway.

MakerSpace

The MakerSpace at Camp Tahuaya is a hub of creativity and discovery. This versatile building hosts a variety of STEM and craft activities, giving guests the opportunity to experiment, build, and explore hands-on projects. From science experiments to arts and crafts, the MakerSpace encourages curiosity, learning, and fun for all ages in a supportive and engaging environment.

Family Fun Zone

The Family Fun Zone at Camp Tahuaya is the perfect spot for kids and families to play, relax, and make memories together. Featuring a vibrant playground, plenty of covered seating for parents and guardians, and open space for activities and games, this area is designed for fun and connection. Whether you’re climbing, running, or enjoying a picnic, the Family Fun Zone offers something for everyone in a safe and welcoming environment.

Lake Boyd Callan

Lake Callan is a beautiful spring-fed lake at the heart of Camp Tahuaya, offering year-round opportunities for fishing and boating. Guests can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding, with all equipment provided by our friendly staff. Private watercraft are not permitted, ensuring a safe and well-managed experience for everyone. Boating adventures are available with an Adventure Pass, while fishing is open to guests with a Day Pass. Whether you’re paddling across the calm waters or casting a line from the shore, Lake Callan provides a peaceful and scenic setting for outdoor fun and relaxation.

Outdoor Pool

Camp Tahuaya offers an outdoor pool for guests staying in an overnight accommodation and visitors who purchase a Day Pass. Please view our event calendar for hours and dates of availability. The pool is closed for the season from Labor Day through Memorial Day (dates subject to change).

Ranges

Camp Tahuaya features a modern Archery and Shooting Range, perfect for testing your aim and enjoying a variety of target sports. Activities include BB gun, archery, and rifle shooting, all supervised by our trained staff to ensure a safe and fun experience. These experiences are included on select weekends with an Adventure Pass or can be reserved separately for private groups. Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced marksman, our range offers a thrilling and engaging way to enjoy the outdoors.

Shower and Restroom Facilities

Throughout Camp Tahuaya, you’ll find clean and convenient restroom and shower facilities designed for comfort and ease. All facilities feature flush toilets, running water, and warm showers, ensuring a refreshing experience after a day of outdoor activities. They are strategically located across the property for easy access, and selected restrooms include changing stations to accommodate parents and young children. Our facilities are maintained to provide a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for all guests.
